A very keen advocate of farm-to-fork – most of 2 Michelin starred chef Simon Rogan’s produce is grown or reared nearby on his twelve-acre farm, along with local suppliers for meat and fish. L’Enclume also employs a highly-skilled full-time forager to expertly gather from the magnificent landscape.

Set in a substantial 1853 Lake District gentleman’s mansion with views over the Lakeland Fells, the restaurant is designed to be a reflection of the local English Cumbrian landscape.
Head Chef Paul Leonard who previously retained the Michelin Star at the Isle of Eriska and worked with Michelin Star chefs Marcus Wareing and Andrew Farlie, uses locally sourced seasonal produce.
