Michelin star chef Paul Ainsworth has worked with Gordon Ramsay, Gary Rhodes, and Marcus Wareing. Chef Paul Ainsworth at No6 venue was totally refurbished in 2018 and has a beautiful 45 cover dining room. There is private dining for 20 and 10 guests. Minimum age of 4 years.
When Paul Ainsworth bought the business in 2009 and re-named it, Padstow’s only foodie celebrity attraction then was Rick Stein’s flagship seafood restaurant – now Paul Ainsworth at No6 is top of the bill.

The Mariners Pub, Slipway, Rock, Cornwall. PL27 6LD – It’s called the Mariners – you’ll find it nearby in fashionable Rock – worth a visit – it is on the other side of the River Camel estuary facing Padstow – 14.5 miles (31 mins) by car.
However, the best way for a Mariners pub treat is to catch the pedestrian-only Black Tor ferry between Padstow and Rock.
The pedestrian ferry runs every 20 minutes and takes 5-10 minutes. 8.00 am until 4.30-5.30pm out of season, summer until 7:30pm. If you miss the last ferry, a taxi will cost about £30 to £40 one way.
