Martin Kemp, Craig Charles, Abba Revival and an Ice Rink are all part of Piece Hall Christmas for 2022., with winter markets, comedy shows, brass bands, classical music family shows, craft workshops and festive films.
The historic venue in Halifax town centre is just 200 metres from Halifax railway station and has a wonderful festive program for 2022 with a beautiful vintage Carousel and a huge Piece Hall Christmas tree.

The impressive lineup includes a DJ set from Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, Radio 2 presenter Garage don DJ Spooney, Radio 6 Music’s Craig Charles and West End star, Britain’s Got Talent finalist magician Ben Hart and the brilliant Abba Revival.
There are also Piece Hall Christmas Markets, comedy shows, brass bands, family shows, craft workshops, festive films and classical music.

Tickets are emailed to your chosen email address. At the event, your ticket can be scanned from your mobile device or alternatively you can show a printed copy. A limited number of complimentary essential carer tickets are available, contact the visitor centre for details.
The Piece Hall Trust charges a £1.50 booking fee to assist with staging events.

Piece Hall Winter Makers Market
Piece Hall Winter Makers Market is on November 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20th November 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Piece Hall Winter Makers Markets showcase some of the region’s best independent craft stalls, artisan makers and pop-up food and drink traders for two festive shopping weekends in November. Perhaps enjoy a pre-Christmas tipple or two with live entertainment from local musicians and there’s a carousel for the little ones to enjoy.
Piece Hall Ice Rink 2022
The Piece Hall Christmas Ice Rink is open from November 26th to 31st December. Tickets cost £14 for adults and £9.50 for children. The synthetic “Glice” rink is much kinder to the environment than traditional ice, is just as much fun and is the centrepiece of the Piece Hall Christmas season. By using Glice there is zero water, energy and carbon dioxide; there are no generators and the surface is shock absorbing. As well as skates, there are Push-a-long Whales which are brilliant fun!

The SpiegelTent at the Piece Hall s a magnificent lavishly decorated historic wooden structure they erect – like a circus big top but made of wood. The SpiegelTent houses a central dancefloor and provides an intimate space at the Piece Hall to hold a wide range of seasonal performances and comedy shows.
