YORK – ST NICHOLAS CHRISTMAS FAIR 2022 -Parliament Street & St Sampson’s Square
The St Nicholas Christmas Fair in York runs from 17th November – 23rd December on Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square with the famous alpine chalets that have appeared on the streets of York since 1992, creating a winter wonderland within the medieval city of York. 2022 sees the St Nicholas Christmas Fair’s 30th anniversary so in celebration the market will be even bigger and better than usual with a huge array of local traders, artisan products, live entertainment and pop-up bars.
HEBDEN BRIDGE – YORKSHIRE CHRISTMAS MARKET 2022 – George Square and Crown Street
Set in beautiful Calderdale’s Hebden Bridge with over 60 stalls offering local produce, artisan food, drink and unique crafts and a new international street food section. Hebden Bridge Christmas Market is on Saturday 27 November 9am until late and Sunday 28 November, 9am until 4pm.
Hebden Makes Christmas 3 and 4 December 2022
Also, 80 local artists are staging the first ever “Hebden Makes Christmas” art, craft and Open Studios event. Entry to all venues is free. Some of the Hebden Makes Christmas venues are in old buildings and artists’ homes, nearly all are accessible and all are welcome and will be like the Christmas Markets of old, with handcrafted gifts and where buyers get to meet the makers.

MALTON CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2022 – Market Place
TV chef James Martin’s hometown of Malton prides itself on being Yorkshire’s food capital and the Malton Christmas Festival on 3rd – 4th December shows why it is so named. There is a huge array of the best local and festive produce including freshly prepared turkeys and macrons – with plenty of mulled wine to sip, of course!
BEVERLEY – MADE IN EAST YORKSHIRE CHRISTMAS MARKET 2022 – Saturday Market
Taking place in Beverley on 7th -9th December, with themed entertainment, it showcases produce and crafts made exclusively by East Yorkshire businesses. The event proceeds Beverley’s iconic Festival of Christmas on Sunday, December 11. Following on from this, in its 26th year, is Beverley’s showcase event, the Beverley Festival of Christmas on Sunday 11 December 2022.

Running from 18th November to Christmas Eve, Sheffield’s festive market is a huge and enjoyable destination with over 50 festive log cabins.
THE GREAT YORKSHIRE CHRISTMAS FAIR 2022 – The Great Yorkshire Showground

HARROGATE CHRISTMAS FAYRE 2022 – Oxford Street, Cambridge Street & Market Place
Classy Yorkshire Christmas markets running from 2nd- 11th December set in Harrogate’s iconic pedestrianised shopping streets with over festive 50 traders.
KNARESBOROUGH CHRISTMAS MARKET 2022 – Market Place
3rd – 4th December sees Knaresborough Christmas Market with a huge number of independent festive traders – and many visitors love to also see the stunning Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s Church, with over 70 beautifully decorated trees.
SKIPTON CHRISTMAS MARKET 2022 – High Street
The successful weekly Skipton Market goes festive on the first two Sundays of December – 4th and 11th December – with mulled wine, choirs, brass bands, seasonal entertainment and live music.
DONCASTER CHRISTMAS MARKET 2022 – Wool Market
King Charles III conferred city status for Doncaster on Wednesday 9 November 2022 during his visit. Doncaster City Christmas Market has lots of stalls offering food, drinks, sweets, Christmas treats and festival activity entertainment. Doncaster Christmas market is on Saturday 14th December 10am – 8pm and Sunday 15th December 10am – 16pm

HALIFAX – PIECE HALL WINTER 2022 – Piece Hall
Set in the beautiful and historic Piece Hall, the Winter Makers Market was held on November 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20th November 10am to 6pm. The Piece Hall Winter Makers Markets showcased some of the region’s best independent craft stalls, artisan makers and pop-up food and drink traders for two festive shopping weekends in November. Visitors were able to enjoy a pre-Christmas tipple or two with live entertainment from local musicians.

The carousel for your little ones to enjoy is on-site at the Piece Hall for the whole of the festive season and The Piece Hall Christmas ice rink made of synthetic ice is the sparkling centrepiece from November 26th to December 31st 2022.
